I have a 2000 buick lesabre limited. I drove my girlfriend home the other night and the next morning my car wouldn't start. It only turns over and runs if my foot is on the gas pedal. As soon as i take my foot off the pedal, it turns of immediately. It drove just fine up until then also. My mechanic said it was either the fuel pump or the throttle position sensor, so i replaced both. I still have the same problem. My dad has had this issue with his car when he has to jump his car or replace his battery and there is a reset button under his dash in a Crysler Sebring that is some sort of security accesory that fixes it. I have no security button or option that i know of. I'm considering doing the spark plugs and the idle air control tommorow based on other web answers i've found, but i'd rather someone who knows about this give me some solid info. PLEASE HELP!!! i have no car until i fix this lol. Thanks to all!
