Hello All!
I am a 20 year old female who has had chronic back pain since 2007 when I "first" injured my back. My Xrays in 2007 revealed thoracolurabar dextroscoliosis. I assume that it wasn't that important because my doctor at the time did not disclose that information to me (I only found out a week ago), but I believe this was the cause of my intermittent back pain prior to the 2007 injury. I recently had another Xray of my lurabar region. The comparison revealed mild disc degeneration at L5-S1, facet joint hypertrophy at the same location, and a slight narrowing of my spinal canal as well. I've started physical therapy, but wanted the opinions of some people who have been in similar situations. Can anyone give me any advice?
