20 inch rims on a 92 toyota camry what is the scrubbing noise?

i put 20 inch rims on my car they could not bend the front struts so they put adapter so it wont scrub the lip on the strut .. but when i start driving i here a scrbbing noise on the driver side i dont no if its my breaks or what and i can hear it when i turn left what is the promblem
