20 days after unprotected sex and negative pregnancy test, advice?

It's been 20 days (august 11th) since I fooled around with this guy I know, I took a digital pregnancy test earlier this morning and it showed a negative result. 18 days ago (two days after sex) I took plan b two-step. Then 5 days after taking plan b i got what I thought was a light and spotty period which lasted 4-5 days, if it wasn't a period- than i suppose it may have been pregnancy bleeding. The bleeding itself was not normal, and did not flow, I did experience bleeding of a dark red color though, not typically pregnancy bleeding- but also shades of brown and pink. Other than the strange spotty bleeding my last period was I believe around august 8, I at least remember bleeding that night. I'm on a serious time crunch to figure this out! Any advice? Thoughts on my situation, could i still be pregnant?

It does not sound at all like you are pregnant. It does seem like you expected to be. Only 15-25% of women get pregnant on any given cycle. That's 15-20% of healthy, mature, women trying to conceive. If you have sex just minutes too late the sperm will not reach the egg. If I were you I would see your doctor to get a blood pregnancy test and some STD tests too. You seem to be worried over nothing. Implantation bleeding is not common and all the negative tests should tell you to stop worrying.
