how big of an SD card do you need for the Wii?

is there any wifi streaming to/from the wii that can be done?

yes

not sure how big the internal memory is but lets just say that WiiSports takes up 2 slots and internally it can hold something like 2200 slots.

It won't recognize a SD card above 2 GB, that's about the only major thing.
