2 simple questions

New to symbian/s60 - I just got my E-70 on Wednesday.

How do i set a music file on my memory card as a ringtone? When I try to change the ringer for a number/group I'm presented with Nokia's pre-installed sounds with no option of pulling files from another location.

How do I change the actions/shurtcuts of the directional button to something else? Right now if you push 'down' or 'in' both actions go to Contacts. I'd like to change one of the directions to something else (like jump to a folder of applications).

I'm coming from an S40 phone, so there's a pretty steep learning curve here. I've found a few simple tips on the s60 website, but if you know of any other good resources to look at could you post those as well?

Audio files must be in the Sounds Folder in either 'Digital' or 'Simple' to show up on the ringtone list.

For the Ringing-Tone:
Contacts->(highlight the name)Open->Options->Ringing Tone

the d-pad is in tools/settings/phone settings/standby

you can change each direction to whatever you want, or you can activate Active Standby, which gives you a line of 6 apps on the front screen, and displays calendar entries as well.
