2 red flashing lights on xbox 360?

i read this............

0011 CPU over heating - If you are receiving this error after disassembling your console make sure to all 8 of the heatsinc screws are tightened securely to the board/heatsink holes.

where can i find that to fix it,and do i blow the fan or turn it around and suck?
 
It means that your console is too hot. Let it cool down for a little while i wouldn't play it until the morning. If you can't wait until the morning just feel how hot the power brick is every hour or so. Once it is to about to room tempature I would play it.
 
thats the red ring of death. ur lucky u only have 2 lights. what u need to do is this.

step1: get a bunch of towels

step2: turn on your xbox and cover it with the towels until it is COMPLETELY covered (u may need several towels like 5 to 6)

step3: leave your xbox on with the towels covering it from every direction for 30 minutes exactly.

step 4: after the exact 30 minutes, remove the towels and turn off your xbox and leave it turned off for exactly 20 to 25 minutes letting it cool off.

step5: turn it on and it will work.


trust me, this works, no joke. i did this and it fixed mine wen it had 3 red lights.
