Hey, im new to this forum and just wondering if anyone knows anything about this.

firstly, I think I have a low sperm count. when I ejaculate either I get a very little amount of semen or on some occasions none at all. I think it might be down to me having a laptop for 7 years iv read it can affect sperm count. damn tosihiba
will this affect any chance of me having children when im older?

secondly I think I suffer from sleep paralysis. I wake up often and I cannot move, a intense sense of fear normally follows like as if something is in the room with me. ususally Im able to regain control of my toes and then slowly all of my body. the only difference is it seems to reoccur just before I fall asleep again, il regain control and then start to relax and then within 5-6 minutes I get that same feeling again.
usually il just get up and sleep downstairs where I dont seem to get this problem at all, I just presume I must sleep in a weird way.
coupled with this I seem to have about 3 or 4 seperate dreams each night im not sure if I wake between them or I just think I do. but there usually horrific nightmares in which I wake up in a sweat
sorry if im blunt and if my english isnt so good, its not my first language

In regards to the sleep paralysis

Do you sleep on your back? If you do, try sleeping on your side or stomach. When it occurs don't go straight back to sleep. It will probably happen again. Believe me. It took me a couple of days to figure this out when I was having frequent sleep paralysis. Try getting up and walking around.

If neither of these things help it might be stress or bad sleeping habits (are you getting a good amount of sleep?). I had a bad case for about a week where I had sleep paralysis two or three times a night. I think it was stress related because it hasn't happened much since then. The only difference is it didn't feel as if someone was in my room with me. I just wasn't able to move or talk.

Hope it goes away!

I sleep on my side, my sleeping patterns are infrequant however. Im ususally like up all night sleep through the day and then other times up all day sleep through the night.
I think your right about the getting up and walking around, because when it gets the better of me and I have to move downstairs, it doesnt happen anymore.
I just hate the irratinal fear part of it.
im glad you overcame your sleep paralysis

It might be your sleeping habits. Have you always had a sleeping schedule like that, or did it just start?

I was actually sleeping on my side to when I had it. I eventually noticed that sleeping on my left side made it occur more often. I have no idea why!

I understand the fear part. Not being able to move or speak scared me. I can't imagine how scary it is to feel like someone is in your room with you. All you can do is remind yourself that there's no one there. It's just your mind playing tricks on you.

Its just started, I had finished my Uni exams so iv got like 3 months of stress free time, in which I messed up my body clock sleeping at stupid hours.
when ever I have the sleep paraylsis I always wake up facing the wall. coupled with the nightmares it likes bleeds through and because I cant turn around to see what behind me the fear takes over.
im always tempted just to do nothing and relax and just see what happens just out of curiosity. iv read so much about people going on about astral travel ectra ectra ectra. im not sure whether there just internet trolls with nothing better to do or if it has some truth to it
