2 Gb Sd Card

hello palm users

i see here & there that 2gb sd cards are now available and since (for my use) the 1gb is kind of "small" i'm wondering if someone has purchased a big one and is happy with ? ? ?

i'm not specially friend with sandisk panasonic kingston or whoever, i just wish to know if the sd card is recognized by your palm tungsten...

The T3 will recognize and work with cards up to 4 gb. That being said, some cards over 1 gb seem to work find and others not at all. Panansonic manufactured cards seem to have the best record and Sandisk cards seem to be more spotty. My advice would be not buy any card unless you can return it for refund or exchange.
 
Hey! Hey! I am light years ahead of 2gb SD available on the market. Now I am enjoying 360 GB space for my T3. I think I will keep using my 512MB for a long long time. To prove I am not joking, here is how:

1) you need BT or WiFi
2) A Windows shares available to Palm
3) WiFiGenie from iscomplete.com

All you need is connect to your network, run wifigenie, find your share drive, mount, and wala, a SD card appears on your Palm and it says 4GB free space (I guess that's what Palm can report, in reality, you can use all your available hard disk space without any problem).

Isn't it a quantum leap ?

I have a T3 and a iBook. Sounds like you have found some secrets. Can you share it with everyone ?

I know how to use Bluetooth connect to my iBook and do the HotSync. That's as far as I can go. Can you teach me what do I need for my iBook in order for WiFiGenie to work ?

I feel so desperated want to know how it works. $300 for a 2GB SD is something I can not afford.

go to the above mentionned url to download the prc and just transfer it to your palm either with the small app "send to the handled"(thru BT or cable) it will then isynch it next time or use the iBook bluetooth file exchange to send it, it works just as well....

there is no secret, tell us how it works with you
