2 dishes, 1 mount?

I've been thinking lately about adding separate dishes for 82 and 91. With my 20" dish, I can get the signal on either bird into the 90's but trying to maximize both at the same time is always a compromise. I don't want to screw another mount onto the side of the house so I figure a longer arm might do the trick. The j-mount I was looking at is a Winegard DS-3000 http://www.worldwidesatellites.com/catalog/product_info.php?manufacturers_id=26&products_id=129&osCsid=51a8570a4f07623cffb4f6475536e9f6. Is anybody running a similar setup or would there be any issues? The outside diameter is 1.66" which seems to match with BEV and I'd probably have to drill a hole through the lower part of the mount and insert a bolt to prevent the bottom dish from sliding down but that's no big deal. Would the weight of the extra dish be a concern, enough clearance? I appreciate any insight.

You could use u-bolts to attach the second dish to the winegard mast
I would see if you could somehow reinforce it with an additional support bracket, especially if it is mounted in a windy location
I have seen supports on the masts for other dishes, but they are the larger ones
 
You should add your location so you can be advised a little better. It seems if you are in the eastern side of the country, then one dish should be fine. Don't worry too much on peaking the signal on 91 as anything in the 80's and above is fine. Worry more about peaking 82. Since these are digital signals then you either get it or you don't. In other words there is no change in picture quality between 80 and 100. If you are on the western side of the country then it is probably preferable to have two dishes. If you are experiencing repeated signal loss due to obstructions or rain-fade then by all means add a second dish.
 
Location added. Yeah, I'm on the east coast. It's not that my signal is terrible or anything, just call me a stickler for perfection. I've got 3 or 4 spare dishes kicking around and thought this might be a way to cut down on that number :) I also have some trees partially obstructing my LOS during the summer months and figured the extra couple of feet might help getting a better view.
 
Just do not forget that those pesky trees will grow and make your life worse as the years go by.

Can you find another location with no trees.?
 
that would be a good setup with the long j-arm, theres usally a top bold preventing the mass from going to far past the sleeve on the dish,, dont know if you know what im saying, but if you took it off on one of the dishes, you could slide the first dish down half way and slap your second one on top.
 
A Dremel takes care of that pretty quickly.

It does work but as i hate tv says I would be concerned about wind loads.
