2 cars which one should i choose?

One's a ford falcon forte 1999 model and the other is a 1994 holden vr berlina. Yes, there both shit cars i now lol, but there the only choices i have. The ford is $4800 and the holden is $3000, and the limit i can spend is $5000 so the ford just fits in. But the reason why i can't decide is because if i buy the holden i'll have enough money to be able to do it up(fancy rims, new tyres subwoffa etc.). but its a older car. If i buy the ford i won't be able to do it up, cause i won't have any money left because it's just below my limit, but it's a newer car. What should i do? please help?
 
I would go with the newer car. You can always modify it later on! You are going to get more life out of a newer car and it will last longer for you. Buy the new one and save up some more money. Next year you can throw some dubs, spoiler, and maybe a new paint job on it. Good Luck!
 
Take them to a mechanic and let him tell you which one to buy. Otherwise you could end up with a car that has too many problems to fix.
