A few months back i posted on here reference my charges, i have been charged of 2 accounts of ABH, my solicitor advised me to go to crown court to get a fairer hearing, so i have agreed to do this but i am hearing some horror stories about crown court.
firstly i would like to add i am totally innocent and dont mind going to fight my case im just hoping i get a fair trial, the CPS are prosecuting me. I got into an altercation that i did not start, but because there are 3 of them and 1 of me the police/cps have taken there account and said i was the agressor, which i wasnt, i fought back in self defence and to be honest i couldnt fight sleep, never mind 3 people, there injuries where a damaged hand ( probably by belting me ) and a cut bloody nose, I received far far worse injuries than the others, broken ribs, black eyes, and a broken cheekbone. it really does annoy me that i was even arrested the night in question, my solicitor said i never made a complaint against them thats why nothing has been done about them, the other thing was i never had a duty solicitor present when i was interviewed which i wasnt to know that.
my barrister whom ive spoken to today said its unlikely a sentence would come to me but you can never rule it out.
I have never been in trouble with anyone in my life.
