That is because you requested (or the rep assumed that you wanted) for the plan change to take effect right away.
Next time, when you change your plan or a feature for that matter, always request for the change to be effective next billing cycle so you dont have to deal with pro-ration and messed up bills.

Ranx it could be pro-rated credit's as well he would have already paid the bill for the My5 and then switched to the epp which is cheaper so the credits would have been applied to this bill the next one would be normal again though. next one should be little over $30 if you don't have any value pack or essential options.
 
That's IF he had already paid the bill for the My5 plan but i believe he didnt. You could be right though i didnt look at it that way.
 
Heres the update, i got my rogers bill in agian on feb 15. The total is $67.75.... thats my new price plan bill, not the my5 old plan, which would be around 80-100bucks. So my bill didint doubled up....

lol Good for you then.
Not to be the one that sounds mean all the time but ive seen charges take up to 3 months to show on a bill.
I would honestly say just call and ask to be sure.
If not just be prepared
