i just wrote my first poem and id like to know what you think.
its called Praying:
Praying for the courage to do what need be done
Feeling the load on my shoulders it weighs a ton
Praying I soon wont need this gun
Praying to be forgiven of my past
Praying that this time will be the last
So I turn the gun on me and blow
Because I’ve bottled things up inside and not let them show
Because id do anything so long as they don’t know
I wake up again why cant I just die
Someone must hate me up in the sky
Sometimes I just wanna break down and cry
But I act tough and I act strong
Ignoring my sense of right and wrong
Because we all have to die before long
So I execute the deserving
With cruelty that’s unnerving
Praying that my time comes soon
But until then I hunt under the moon
