1st Time Benching and other exercises?

ok so last Thursday i benched and did other Arm Work outs with a friend and i was only benching 65 LBs... immna be benching (and other stuff) every tuesday and thursday After school. My question is what should i be benching on my 1st few times and how long till i get better at lifting? my arms are still killing me from thursday too... will i always be this sore after a work out, or will it get better as i go back?

we also did other Exercises like 21 guns, Hammers, etc basically every muscle in my arm is killing me
