Hi all, been browsing the forums for a while just to see which phones seem to be the more popular ones. Well, this will be my first phone ever so given that I have a coupla questions. The phones I've narrowed down to that have caught my interest is the D600, V3i, L7, and the Pebl. I was really set on getting the D600 until I started to read some of the cons about it which is the battery life and the most important part (to me at least) is that its only options for ringing are ring, vibrate, or vibrate after 5 seconds of ringing which is very annoying to me. I was set on getting the pebl as well but I saw the V3i was pretty close in its price range (only like 10 bucks diff on ebay) so thats why I threw the V3i into my considerations. So if any of you can give any info on the pros and cons of these phones I'd really appreciate it Or if you have any other recommendations for phones that'd be great too, I'd PREFER sliders but it's not a must.
Well, being that it's my first phone I'm super hardcore noob with this stuff. I'm planning to do a pay as you go plan and right now it looks like T mobile womps cingular with the rates so my intention is buying my phone off ebay first then starting the pay go plan. I know that unlocked phones don't come with a sim card so when I go to start my plan they'll give it to me then right? And do I need to bring the phone with me in order to give me a sim card?
