so 1st off i know i should just prob take my car to a shop (which i plan on doing i just dont want to sound like a moron..lol)
sooo about a 1 1/2 -2 months ago i started having problems out of my fuel tank/fuel light/ or gauge.. im not sure... this is what happened...
my low fuel light came on one day and the gauge showed i had a lil more than a 1/2 tank of gas.. and when i filled my tank then it held like $65 worth of gas, which for me and where i live is a full tank.. so then my fuel light kept coming on even though i knew the tank was full.. so now, i have been going on millage but i dont know what i should be getting out of a full tank of gas, so around 400 miles i refill my tank again.. i dont know if it was kinda like a one time thing, should i get this checked out, should i just use my gas gauge again, have it checked out.. and if i do have it checked out what do i tell the people.. or could a place like advance or auto zone check out this problem or is there something i can do to fix it?? also if it matters my car is a 4cly and an automatic...
