1999 pontiac grandam window problems?

one of my window clips broke, the other still moves up and down the cable which is the only thing holding my windo all the way up, the other broke and is off the regulator track, my question is once i get new clips how do i get the clips on the regulator track? i tried to snap it back on just to see how it goes on and no go. also how do i align the track when i get the clip on, im ole school and these new windows baffle me , any help apprieciated thanks
