had a new engine put in my grand am about a month ago... prior to the engine being put in.. the power steering pump was fine.. never leaked!.. but once this engine was put in.. about 2 weeks after the power steering pump started leaking, i knew bcuz of the puddle and the level was on add... but i noticed one of the lines was really loose.. so i tightend it and it seemed to be fine for like 3 days.. i checked it yesterday.. and the level is on add, and it seems to be going onto the belt.. and the belt squirts the fluid everwhere.... is it a bad pump?? the seals or sumthing gone bad?? i dunno... and then.... right when it hit 1,500 miles the oil level was on "add" so i channged the oil bcuz the mechanic told me to change it after 1500... and now 16 days later its not on add.. but there are four little holes on the dip stick untuil it reaches full and one of those little holes is not filled with oil... should the engine be burning oil this fast?? and another thing is when i start it and it smells kindof bad... it didnt smell like this before.... someone please give me sum insight...... i have brand new ac delco spark plugs and wires... a couple monthes ago i replaced the fuel filter... i change my oil at 1500 miles... & i changed the power steering fluid a couple times.... i no longer have dex-cool coolant running threw the engine.. & i changed the coolant hoses 2 monthes ago... so i take car of this car... someone help me out
