Ok i went to check out this 99' jeep grand cherokee laredo 4x4. Outside of it looked nice, would need new tires eventually but no biggie. inside, not bad, decent, one small cigarette burn in the backseat. It drives nice, no idling when i punched on the accelerator. THEN....when i asked about the 4 wheel drive, the gf (who was inside this car) says her bf stops, and puts it in neutral to put it in 4 wheel drive? do you have to do that, or can you do that while driving? also that when i went to switch back to 2 wheel-drive, it stuck in 4 wheel drive...which was really weird? is that common for a grand cherokee to do? The father of the girl who was in the car racked the gears a few times, and than finally it was out of 4 wheel drive. so i wanna know before i buy it if it is common for that to happen?
