We are planning on purchasing a 2-owner odyssey for $4,500 w/ 160k miles... that was serviced at a honda dealership and eventually sold at an auction. I have read nothing but bad reviews on this vehicle, but thought we were getting a good deal since it's a honda. Why do cars go to auctions in the first place? Are the transmissions really that faulty?? We bought a carfax on it and it was serviced over 30 times at the honda dealership...wonder if this is a good or bad thing??
