1999 Ford F-150 air conditioning don't work?

My defroster works, but not the air conditioner. It always blows out hot air and always at the defroster. What would be wrong with it. Help it's really hot this summer especially without A/C.
 
Well you first off would need to charge your a/c, then make sure the a/c pump works by watching the fan kick on by the pulley. You can also test a/c by turning on the defrost and seeing if the a/c pump kicks on. If not your out a few bucks for a new a/c system
