I have a 1999 Neon, and my moon roof won't open. There are two buttons to open the roof, one of which slides it back and the other tips it up, but neither can get it open all the way. Whichever button i press to open to moon roof it'll go up about half an inch, but then makes this grinding motor-y noise, like its trying really hard to open but something just isn't right. I don't want to push up on the glass too hard for fear of busting it out, but I would really like to try and fix it myself before I take it anywhere to get looked at. Suggestions?
