My car keeps getting rejected from the emmisions test site. When they read my computer with their machine it reads not ready for all of the things they are checking. I have taken it there 3 times already and have had work done on it. It's not failing, just being rejected. When I go to the mechanic, it reads ok on his machine. What could be the problem. I heard that the engine and computer aren't talking to eachother and every time I turn off my car the computer restarts and there is nothing to read. What can it be and how can I fix it? Desperate now, my plates are expired and I used all the temporarys.
