I have a 1999 Prizm that starts fine when cold, usually after 2 or 3 revolutions of the starter. When the engine has warmed up, and I park it for an hour or 2, it will take 10 -12 starter revolutions before the engine starts. Any suggestions on what to check?

carb leaking into motor.... ok when cold... bad when hot... cold motor needs rich mix... hot motor needs lean mix

good chance its the carb... it could be leaking fuel down into the engine when it sites... cold this is ok because the engine needs a rich mixture to start BUT hot this is bad because it slightly floods the engine with happens to require a much leaner mixture when hot
