Well I have this 1999 Buick Regal GS , this is my only problem.... my RKE transmitter will not operate when i press the lock and unlock button or the open trunk button , the only button the car responds to is the red alarm button. I have tried procedures from the manual such as holding both lock and unlock at the same time for 7 seconds... nothing happens.... I successfully enter the program mode for the RKE transmitter in the car , which is supposed to erase all memory of previous transmitters. But yet the red alarm button still works after doing all of this I WOULD ALSO like to mention i have changed the battery in the remote and yes its the correct one as mentioned in the manual.
