1999 4 cyl Mercury Mystique GS problem?

I have a 1999 4 cyl Mercury Mystique GS. The car is shutting down after driving couple of miles. When it happens I place it on neutral and turn it back on. I’ve changed sparkplugs, cables, oil and gas filter. No improvements whatsoever.

Please advise

does it have any gas? if yes check your distribution module.
