So...started my car this afternoon and my ac compressor clutch froze and ripped the belt off. Is there anything I can do to disengage the clutch on the compressor so I can replace the belt(even if it means no AC)?
I'm not concerned about AC. My main concern is freeing up the clutch so my pulley will continue to turn and I can put another belt on.
I can NOT reroute the belt because the compressor pulley assembly is in the way.
Any ideas on how to quick fix this problem?
