I do not have a rev counter in my mondeo, and i'm going to be doing a lot of motorway driving in the close future.
and to keep it economical, i want to keep the revs under 3000rpm, but without a rev counter i do not know how fast i am going when the car hits 3000rpm. i'm guessing between 60 - 70mph
