My boyfriend has a 1998 Mazda B2500 truck, it has a regular cab with a 4 cylinder engine. The past few weeks, we’ve noticed a squeaking sound when you press the gas pedal. As soon as the gas pedal is released the squeaking stops. Yesterday he realized that it also squeaks when it's in neutral, when the gas pedal is pressed.
I forgot to mention that it doesn't squeak untill the car is warmed up, after the car has been running about 15 minutes. Which belts and were would they be located? That does sound like a good idea.
