ok so i purchased a used 98 jeep..runs great only one problem...the liftgate didnt close when i bought it,so i had them fix it b4 i picked it up,now a few weeks later, this started... when i drive , day or night, the liftgate reads that it keeps opening and closing..although it isnt it stays closed. so the alarm thing goes off and the lights keep flashing on and off like they do when you open the door. is there a way i can just cut the power from the lifgate to the lights at least? no book with car so i dont know what fuse to pull or wire to just cut. any help??
