This is a weird one and Im at my patience limit, two days ago the front drivers door on my 98 Honda accord stopped opening from either side. Got it home tried to take the door panel off which is impossible with the door closed, got the trim off so I could look down the exterior of the door panel and I see nothing wrong, the rod is intact, and the mechanism appears to be engaging, but wont open. The car has power locks which have good power to them, i listen when I hit the lock button and I hear the locks engaging and disengaging (the litte lock hum) but still wont open. No recent trauma, nothing stuck in the door, just happened spontaneously worked fine one minute and then....hmmm...i dont know any ideas?
