I assume you are talking about fluid leaking from the steering rack bellows (aka boots). Sounds like you will need to replace the rack and pinion seals. A rack and pinion seal kit will probably only cost about $30 but it will be labor intensive to install and is something that should done by a skilled mechanic. But you can probably buy a complete remanufactured rack and pinion unit for about $150 and easily install it yourself. The only other expense then would be to have the toe-in set by an alignment shop.

be leaking out from? My power steering fluid went low on me a few days ago. You know the typical growling/whining sounds coming from my car when i turned and it also got very hard to turn. I put more fluid in and it seemed to do the trick for a day. Then it seemed to just leak out again. A buddy of mine told me that one of my Tie Rod Boots looked like it might be a little damaged. So i took of my front tire to take a look. The clamp thing on the end of the boot just fell off on both sides. So i put them back on. But when i put fluid in and start my car, it just like squirts out from the boot. I'm not exactly sure how the boots work but i know its not supposed to be squirting fluid out. It literally squirts out of my boot. I think it leaks out both sides. Ive checked all the upper hoses and they seem fine. I dont know what else could be wrong. Maybe my rack and pinion? Or a hose near there? If anyone could help me i would be eternally grateful. Thanks.

If the rest oif the car is worth the fix, install an exchange rebuilt steering rack, because you can't successfully reseal these things. The rack is wore out and the seals can't hold the pressure from worn bores and bushings, ok. good luck
