1998 Ford Ranger xlt camper shell - will one made for a Ford F-150 work?

I do nto want to spend a lot of money for a camper shell... I have found a couple of options on Craigslist but am unsure whether they will fit or not. I think my truck has an 8 foot bed, which seems to be pretty standard. Will any camper shell made for an eight foot bed work? Does anyone know?
