I have a 1998 ford ranger 2.5 5 speed pick up truck. The other day i unpluged my trucks battery to do check out an arlarm issue i was having at the time , i hooked every thing back up and parked the truck did not pay attention to the speedo , the next day going to work i noticed i had no speedo and my trip meter had stopped working. i changed the vss/abs sensor , checked all fuses inside the truck and out , cant figure out whats going on. my guess is leaning towards the speedo on the cluster being bad. all the other gauges work fine , abs light and check engine light never came on , all fuses have been checked , what am i missing?
