OK it was raining today here in Oklahoma and during my morning commute my dash lights and running lamps went out.
Headlights turn signals hazards still work fine. So I got to work ok. I checked the fuse panel under the hood and I had blown a 15a fuse slot 11 I think?
I then replaced it, turned the vehicle on " new fuse was still good at this point"
then when I turned on the light switch onto park-lamps it blew again.
I stopped shut everything down and then checked the tail lamp/park-lamp sockets, tag-light sockets
just to be sure there wasn't any water in them.
I also looked for any loose connectors or loose grounds and everything looked fine.
so my question is before i go spend 20 bucks on a headlight- switch/relay "because I think that's what went out" does anyone out there agree that this is the next step in the process? I can't think of anything else to check. and I know the fuse doesn't blow when i turn the vehicle on only when I turn the park-lamps switch to the on position.
