1998 ford mustang v6 speakers?

hi i have a 1998 ford mustang v6 and i was looking to upgrade my mid speakers. i went to my neighborhood audio store and they suggested the boston acoustics. my question is are these good mids? i want allot of power and bass. something that can come compatible with two kicker l7's with a 1500.1 amp. also i believe my speaker size is 6'8's are they the same as 5'7's because in the past they say the are the same thing why is that? if you have any sites i can order of of that would be nice aswell.
 
Go to the Crutchfield site, enter your car info, it will tell you everything that fits plus some. You can buy from a local shop, but the site is the best I have found that shows what and where to install anything audio & video.
