my 98 ford escort zx2 want go into passin gear when you try the rpm will rev up but it want be goin nowhere fast untill you let off the gas then it will go back into drive somebody help
It sounds like your transmission and/or torque converter. Both will be expensive to fix. I dont like automatics for that same reason. Try a manual trans next time you get a car(which might be pretty soon)
