1998 Ford 4x4 Expedition makes clicking noise?

my 1998 ford expedition eddie bauer 4x4 makes a clicking noise when I am moving and turning at slow speeds either left or right turns it will do it.... Also it has 166k miles on it, and seems to be in very very good condition and the engine is very clean.. Anyways, its making the clicking noise up front on the drivers side. CV shaft???? I recently changed the sway bar link or whatever its called bc it was leterally loose and the rubber bushing were destroyed.. easy job to replace, and if you can, tell me what kind of differentials are up front and in the back. open? limited slip? locking? thanks
