The tailgate doesn't open by electric release or by handle in the back on tailgate itself. I got the lock mechanism out but cannot figure out how to get handle itself out. This has the key tumbler inside which I think is the problem. I removed the 4 bolts that go through the tailgate into the handle housing itself but the handle still wont come out. Am I missing something or does the molding running along the bottom of tailgate have hidden bolts underneath it?
