i have a 1998 dodge caravan with 195k miles on it. recently i have been having issues with it. when it is cold it dies after starting. runs great once engine is warmed up. also after sitting overnight in the cold the battery drains completly dead. i already replaced the battery and it still has the same problem. also after it dies i get a service engine light. i have not put a scanner on it because i do not have access to one and the the autozone in my town do not have one. anyway does anyone know what this could be. also if i unhook the battery overnight it starts fine. its not really a big deal if i just unhook the battery everynight and let the car warm up but i would just like to know what causes this. the new battery i put in it was from autozone and is 625cranking amps 550 cold cranking amps.
