ok guys, my girlfriend has a 1998 sebring as written before. the other day the car shut off in the middle of driving home and the initial diagnosis was blown engine due to lack of oil. it has had propper oil changes and we just checked the oil level two weeks ago and the oil pressure gauge never said it was low, and the other oil light never came on. so i guess the question would be is, does this car have an automatic shut off when the oil pressure gets low. i know some cars have it, but does this one? it would be great if it did cuz paying a grand for a new engine isnt really in my plans hopefully.
