sometimes doesn't want to start in the morning, but if I wait a while it starts. every once in a while it chokes after idling at a light, etc when accelerating but usually catches and drives normally. Other times it just dies.
the clock resets every time it dies and also in the mornings that it doesn't start.
windshield wipers also randomly don't work.
replaced fuel filter, fuel pressure regulator.
gas is getting to the engine, and pump runs.

thanks

Def. a sensor problem. Electrical problems with GM products are common. Take it to a repair shop you trust.

It sounds like an electrical problem. This problem is very difficult to diagnose without the appropriate equipment. You should be able to have a diagnostic test run for about $80. Otherwise you do, like I have done so many times, your own diagnostics, replacing many parts unnecessarily. This method has cost me many times more than $80.The $80 diagnostic test could be money well spent.

well the most common problem with the 5.7 litre and the stalling is the throttle position sensor.

Myself I would take it to a trusted mechanic and have him scan the computer for trouble codes, before anything is replaced.

The computer will tell you what is wrong and then you can decide what to fix.
