1998 & 1999 Honda CRV?

I'm looking for my first car, & I'm looking at the 98' & 99' Honda CRV's. If you've had one or know about them, how do you like them? What are some pros/cons? & Anything else you can tell me about them would be great. Most of all, how's the safety? Thanks!

It's a NPO so there's no surveys, they won't ask for $$$ and you don't have to sign up for a membership & do the silly E-mail thing.
