Hi I have a 1997 Toyota Tacoma and I had a little accident. Long story short I ran over some big logs and My truck will no longer start. It was completely fine before the accident though. The ignition will turn over but won't fire up. I think it might be the distributor but how do I know for sure?

Thanks for the help.

If you need more information just let me know.
I've tried the screwdriver thing and I didn't get a spark
I looked everywhere for a loose wire or fuel line and haven't seen anything, but I'm not going to be by my truck again until tomorrow so I'll have to check the schrader valve tomorrow and get back to you, but I was wondering if the 1997 Tacoma has a safety switch so when I hit the log the jolt caused it to flip?

couple basic test are to find they schrader valve on the fuel line turn the ignition on then press the valve in the middle of it this will tell you if you got gas goin

then pull the no 1 spacrk plug wire put a screwdriver in it then rig the screwdriver about 1-2 millimeters from a solid ground then cranck the car to see if you got spark

hmm it might have caught up the wire from the starter or something...seems like maybe a fuel pump...

you might have a fuel pump safety when you get in a accident it shuts off the fuel supply maybe it was enough to set it off see if you have a fuel pump relay shut off
