1997 Toyota Rav4 with no block heater- cold weather....?

I have a Toyota Rav4 with no block (that i can find) and it sits outside all the time- i have a garage but my yukon is in there. So is there something that i can do to make it start better and warm it up a little?

Say a car heater or something?

Is there a block heater that i could buy that i could put in?

This morning when i went out to start it i really had to crank it over to start it and once i got it started it sounded like a 1988 benz 300SEL diesel when you just start it.

Any ideas
 
Go to your local parts house and pick up an engine block heater and have it installed, or if you are capable, install it yourself.
Unless you are in a part of the country where severe cold is normal the parts house is probably going to have to look up the part. Here in Fairbanks, Alaska they know the part numbers by heart...lol.
