1997 Toyota Corolla won't shift?

I just got done fixing my 97 corolla, had to replace the negative battery terminal and also some fuses, but now when I turn the car on i cannot shift out of park without sticking a screw driver down the little hole next to the gear shift, and also my radio will not turn on. I suspect more blown fuses but I cannot find any that are blown. Please help
