The car started messing up around Thanksgiving with accelerating while driving. Everything would be normal then the car would not really accelerate for around a second or two then it would kick back in and be normal. It got to the point to where my car has trouble accelerating the whole time. It takes forever to get speed. The car also has a lot of trouble shifting up gears, and when it does try and succeed, a lot of white smoke comes out of the exhaust. The car was leaking antifreeze so I thought I might try sealing up any leaks with Bar's Leaks headgasket repair. It didn't have any effect. Does anyone know what could be wrong with my car?
