i have a 1997 mercury sable dohc v6 , its leaking coolant. Im trying to find out the exact name of this pipe. It is the pipe coming from the BOTTOM of the water pump, the pipe starts off rubber coming from the water pump, then has a small bend, where the bend is it is a metal pipe and then turn back into rubber. Well the pipe rusted a hole in it lol. So im trying to find out what that pipe is called, and if i can buy a universal flex rubber pipe to put on it where the metal bend is, and if so what size should i get. Thanks for any help guys!!
The metal part of the pipe, is stock. Allot of the mercurys have this problem with it rusting through like that. And the pipe has a bend in it.
