my car has 249,000 miles on it. lately when i turn it on i have to press the gas pedal to keep it on. also at stop lights if not it will shake and turn off then the battery light comes on. i just turn it back on and have to keep pressing the gas pedal. i already changed the fuel filter, i have a new battery, i have done an oil change and tune up. what could it be. lately its also been making a clicking noise like every 5seconds where the fan is. HELP ME !!!
at tune up: spark plug, plug wires, filter, oil change, fuel filter.
also since i had the car i have changed the radiator, battery, starter, ball joints.
for this problem i have only changed the fuel filter, someone suggested the fuel pump and to accelerate the car but i dont know what that means. also when i put the lucas fuel system cleaner in my gas tank the car works fine with full power.
